Saves alot of messing around having to drain the rad before removal
Easy to install, it saves draining the full radiator and losing additives. Were actually used to extend the pipework, which worked superbly.
Great for reducing water loss on a radiator that needs removing a few times.
After fitting a new radiator 12 months ago I noticed a slight leak coming from one side. I wasn’t sure if it was the radiator or the tails. So I replaced the radiator tails and that sorted the leak out. Good product and looks good too.

Well made isolating Radiator Tail 15mm x 1/2" in chrome it is extremely well finished and has a lovely Chrome finish .

On the face of it it seems a good idea, I bought a pair and fitted,...but.. I started wondering if they were actually good, how durable are they , with the rad full of water it's going to weigh quite a bit and how long will the seals last?..time will tell

These will make it so much easier if I need to decorate behind radiator again. Always an issue with draining the radiator, not any more!
What a brilliant idea, these little gems save a lot of time and trouble.
One can isolate the radiator, and disconnect it without having to drain down the whole system.
Why these are not supplied standard with radiators when sold I don't know.
Well I do, it's to take more money from us, but that is not an issue if one considers the effort it saves.
Will save me bleeding radiator to paint behind. Hopefully no issues of leakage from the closing part of the valve

Have bought 3 sets of these. The first set worked fine and were easy to fit. Of the second 2 sets I sheared one of each set. This is without using too much force and had to reuse a removed fitting. I’m sure they were faulted. I would buy again but hopefully they will be from a different batch
Excellent product. Good quality. Radiator can be removed without draining if required.
Heating engineer concerned that isolation valves might suffer in a heating system long term so I returned this item

Fitted easily. worked well. Will make future maintenance and decorating easier. Will look at these for other radators in the house.
