Very good as can be adjusted for nearly any fitting need. Would be nicer to have screw prop adjuster rather than saw off arm.

Great piece of kit, adjustable in several ways, does the job! I did have to cut a bit off the float attachment part as we have narrow cisterns.
I bought this to replace a non adjustable, high pressure valve in a toilet cistern that is fed from a rain water tank, via a half inch hose. I had to significantly reduce the length of the arm, to be able to attach a 90mm float ball inside a fairly small cistern. Also needed swap the blue high pressure valve unit for the red low pressure unit, that is supplied. I now have a low pressure toilet system that fills quite quickly, unlike my previous unit that took half an hour to refill. I am therefore, extremely pleased with this unit and the reasonable price was a bonus.

I fitted this in a toilet from the 80's and it's about 20mm too tall, other than that no problems. Its only a make do till I get a new bathroom
Very well designed and 'solid' product, easy to configure and adjust and excellent value for money. I used this in a narrow close-coupled cistern and although at its shortest, the arm was slightly too long, it was easy to cut down to the correct length. Of real benefit and a testament to the excellent design was the pivot at the end of the arm where the float attaches. It meant that the float could be angled to 'go around' the siphon where a straight 'arm' and float would have fouled the overflow pipe. Genius!
Great price, very adjustable, I needed the smallest setting with the float folded right round for a narrow cistern, just made it with it stroking the side. Bit of a worry tightening on the plastic, had to tighten loads onto fibre washer to stop it leaking. Is there a better way?
The float valve works very well. It has many adjustments allowing for much flexablity in positioning the float. These adjustments can be a bit confusing at first and are best done before installation. It comes with 2 pressure adaptors (high and low). The low pressure one is red and is clipped on to the arm. Because it is all plastic the thread connecting to the water supply is vulnerable.
I was surprised at the quality of this product. The arm extension mechanism is far more sturdy than similar valves. Pity the shank isn't brass
