Ok bit of kit, the pressure gauge is quite wide range so difficult to see the lower end if you only need a bit of pressure

Perfectly functional pressure test pump, and great value at the price. You need to make sure you properly make on the connections, but once done it is perfectly serviceable. The instructions are pretty worthless, but its not complex.
Does what it should. Used for testing underfloor heating system
This is great , you do have to use some thread tape on joints and buy relevant adapter to get a join to pipe work to test, but if that’s beyond you probably not an item you should be buying. Probably not built for everyday pro work being slung in a van etc but looked after this is amazing for the price

Just didn’t work. Bought because it was cheap but really proved the case for you get what you pay for. Truly awful product.
Needs some tweaking before use and know-how, but otherwise good, affordable pump.
Got this pump to test-as-you-go installing an ensuite bathroom.
First off, you need to add a male adaptor spigot 1/2" x 15mm onto the tubing supplied if you want to test 15mm pipework.
You'll also need PTFE tape or Loctite sealing cord to seal the joins between the main pump and the supplied tubing, as well as any adapter you add to the end of the tubing (such as the one above).
If you simple tighten the joins with no tape or cord, it is highly likely to leak.
The instructions supplied are also not in English and not hugely helpful, so it helps if you've used one of these before, although you'll probably get the idea after giving it a go.
So overall, a good pump (the basin is metal, rather than plastic) - well made and works fine.
Pressurised the system well and was perfect to test the Pipework as I had to tile the bathroom and we had no mains connection. Really helpful!
Good price for a DIY user and in stock. Simple and easy to use but could do with better instructions.
Thought I'd share my experience. I used one of these more than 10yrs ago belonging to someone else, I'm sure it had a plastic tank then. Now it has a metal tank and the build quality does seem a bit stronger. Im a pro HVAC engineer and i used this item on an industrial steel heating system, all the way upto 20bar pressure. This unit put other major brands to absolute shame and took me to surprise. Some things you may well need to do before using it, is to replace the washers they give with it, as they are a little low on quality. Use your own rubber washers and loctite 55 cord on the 1/2" adaptor, and away you go! You need to use your initiative a little. If you cannot follow the above steps, kindly return it, as it ain't for you and get someone with better skill sets! Honestly it's worth the money if cared for!.
Pump works great. Used it to test a fire sprinkler system I installed, easy set up, got it up to pressure very quickly and easy to drop the pressure out. 5 star item
