Ok as a temporary fix, but it fell down a few times. Would not recommend as a permanent fixture.
My husband bought this telescopic white shower rail to replace one that had been up years but eventually the rubber ends perished. It’s exactly as he hoped it would be. Went up easily - one end on a painted wall the other onto tiles. Been in situ for a few weeks now with no problems.
TBH the product is as expected BUT the ‘mechanism’ for keeping the pole in place is not strong enough.

This is the second Croydex shower rail and we are very pleased with them. However, it must be said that they are prone to falling down even when secured according to the instructions. We now use an inch square piece of nano tape (a very sticky clear double sided tape) at either end of the pole that sticks extremely well to the ceramic tiles and the ends of the shower rails. Using this method avoids drilling the tiles that others have resorted to.

Good basic shower pole. I never intended to rely on the just the fact that the pole relies on friction to hold it in place so I cant say how that side of it works in practice.
I made a peg from bits n bobs to screw to the wall, which one of the end caps slipped over, with the other end cap I used a washer and a screw to fix the cap to the wall. Just a case of then telescoping the pole into the caps. The pole initially didn’t want to lock so I extended the pole to a point where the locking mechanism was felt, I gently semi locked the pole the pushed the pole in again for fitting. On fitting the pole into the end caps, the locking mechanism would perfectly. Job done!
It’s a shame that the kit doesn’t include a screw fitting kit like what I created but then again that would increase the price.
It may have worked fine with the friction fit anyway

Simple easy to fit shower rail , if you have a flat wall either side , this is perfect. Open and twist to lock
It holds the curtain up and has not fallen down and it's been a few months since I put the rail up. Went from one end of the bath to the other between the walls. All good
Only wanted a telescopic pole as a temp measure, but this one is the best for good security because of the screw out end which gives that extra grip to the wall.
Used ot to hold up illuminated christmas garland. Held no problem
Good value for money. Reasonably easy to install but did made easier with someone helping to hold the other end.
Good value for the price, spans firmly to it’s extension
Didn't work for me so i had to return it without any hassle.
