Using this made a hard job that much easier. Would highly recommend.
Sent this product back as it was ready for collection too late i had already done the job
Used opened the box and it was filthy, wouldn’t stay in the sds ended up going in the bun
The locking nut was always loose, this tool was unusable for me.
Not a bad tool, alright for smaller jobs, works better than a bolster but the threads arent great and it rattles itself loose, worth investing in a more expensive one if you plan to use it regularly

Bought this to sink some boxes into block.
It’s not bad. The hammer setting on the drill rattles the securing nut loose in seconds.
In honesty, save your money and buy the single cutter and use it side by side. Works much more efficiently than this double cutter.
This is intended to be used with the rotary cutter, the rotary cutter is goid while the box cutter is ok. The box cutter does give a neat outline but is probably not necessary if you have a decent sds chisel.
Can do a clean cut, very good.
The nut on the inside of the cutter keeps on coming off due to the rattling action of the drill.
Very annoying, but it does it's job
Should have believed the reviews, it may be good for breeze block soft but no good for brick etc. The nut keeps coming undone and no matter how much it is tightened still no good. The drill bit works well but this is not worth getting.
The unit is poorly designed. The hammer action from the SDS drill makes the securing nut to undo. I am pleased to say that Toolstation were happy for me to return the product and refund the purchase price.
Just does not tighten up and as a result the locator pin snapped, really disappointed as whilst I have had in the van for a while I have not needed it, but when I did it let me down
Rubbish bit of kit, completely useless.
I didn't have much hope for these cutters but I was pleasantly surprised.
Once you get the hang of it they make cutting back box voids a doddle as well as keeping the cuts neat on the maisonry wall!
Really poor quality product, it does not cut in very well and makes the hole far to big for the socket.
As others have said, it falls apart during use no matter how tight you get the nut. Also the machining is poor & parts do not line up well.
Great bit of kit if you have multiple boxes to fit, box fit is quite snug so ensure you are cutting in square, and pilot holes can cause issue with fixing the box.
