I’m a novice DIY’r and at first I wasn’t completely sure if I was eligible to buy this item as I’m not a qualified pilot. After rifling through my Britannica Encyclopaedia it turns out pilot in this case means small hole as opposed to someone who flies a plane. Anyway, I digress. As I have come to expect from Toolstation, excellent customer service, excellent quality and excellent value for money. They make things so simple.
Does not lock securely into the adapter. It’s a specific bit for the adapter so could have been designed to stay tight while in use rather than shaking free.
I needed to use TCT Core Drill Bit which recommended not using hammer facility on drill. Did the job guiding the TCT Core Drill Bit through double brick wall.
It fits properly and doesn't cause any problems when drilling.
I bought this drill bit as a pilot drill for your 50mm TCT masonary hole saw. It was the recommended size. It isn't diamond tip and the fit into the 50mm cutter could be better.
It fitted the core adapter, and worked without issue.
I used this to remove selected bricks from a wall, I bought 3 due to the nature of the job and the price of the item… I only used one.
Just the job, brought to complement core drill, quality bit, but make sure it pushed home and tighten up properly as it did come loose
Bought as part of a combo to drill a 40mm hole through red brick. Worked great for a great price. Can speak to the longevity but didn't seem to be any the worse off after use.
A good value and solid drill bit. The perfect companion to the Arbor and core drill set. Sits well in the holder. Strong, fast cutting and good clearance if debris.

Not much to say the pilot drill cut easily through concrete, brick and stone used with 250mm adaptor and 50mm core bit. Excellent product and great service from local Toolstation at Midsomer Norton.
Does the job , can only be used for this one job as not normal drill bit.
