Purchased in conjunction with adapter to drill through brick wall for bathroom waste pipe. Was very hard work but did the job - can’t imagine a pro would use it as would take far too long - but comparing to the cost of a diamond cutter for a one off job it was effective and was up to the task
It does work but not without a few issues. The auger bit keeps falling out and I was unable to stop this. It jams when nearly through so could do with a bit more clearance. But it was good value for the few holes I needed to drill. Works better on softer bricks.
Had these before and they do the job. £22 for arbour and bit at time of review

I bought the drill bit however it turned out that I did not need to use it. I was able to return the product in its original packaging without a hassle.
Core bit looks very sturdy and robust, not used it yet, but i will be interested to see how it copes with very hard 300 year old bricks !

This fits perfectly with the TCT adapter, extremely tough heavy duty steel.
I used this to install a 40mm waste pipe through a brick cavity wall. Brick falls out of the core easily, the tips remain sharp after the job is finished.
This core bit would not cut at all. Very poor product. I would not recommend this. Spend a bit more money and get a better product.

Absolute junk, brought to drill one hole in a brick garage wall for a tumble dryer vent, also purchased a 50mm of the same brand to drill a hole for a waste pipe. The 50mm drilled quite well with no issues but the 110mm after going through the plaster didn't even touch the brick, didn't penetrate the brick at all, in the end I had to drill a series of holes with a 6mm SDS and chisel the hole by hand, the only thing I could use this core drill for would be a paper weight, save your money and hire a core drill if you only need to drill one hole as this will not do it.
Given this core drill was 10 times cheaper than others I was assuming I’d only get one hole out of it which was all I needed. Do not expect it to be used numerous times. It was slow going through a double layer of brick with it being only 50mm deep. In the end it was quicker to drill numerous pilot holes and using this bit to clear the final hole.
Works as it should. Would benefit with a location peg to start the hole off
Don’t waste your money on this product. Very poor quality and will take you forever to get through a wall. Go and hire a proper core drill from a tool hire company and save yourself a lot of hard work and hassle!!
