As described. Works perfectly with the TCT core bits.
core adapter is a required additional piece of kit for the core drill bit. Also requires an 8mm masonry drill bit. I found the bolt that retains the drill bit came loose and fell out unless repeatedly re-tightened. Otherwise worked as intended.
Used it to cut through manhole brickwork. No problem.
Quick and easy to assemble and cuts the hole fine.

This adaptor fits perfectly with the TCT boring tools. Incredibly tough, precise SDS fitment, drill bit retention works well.
Poor design. Hex bolt doesn't hold pilot drill bit securely, keeps working loose with vibrations. Lost hex bolt in cavity on second hole through wall,
Excellent. Couldn’t find what I wanted anywhere else. Fortunately it was a retired engineer at Toolstation Market Harborough who recognised what I needed with the right thread and then found exactly what I needed. This helped get my 3 brick wall holes drilled easily and quickly.
Good quality adapter that isn’t easy to find elsewhere.
Does not lock the pilot bit in securely. It is a specific bit for this product so they could have designed it to stay secure in use. It’s also very difficult to unscrew the core bit from the adapter as it obviously tightens up on use. Some form of grip point would be useful. But at this price, I’ll just buy a separate adapter for each core bit as I’m DIY not trade so using them infrequently.
As ever an excellent quality item at a competitive price I recommend Tool station, and this product.
Needed to use TCT Core Drill Bit to get thru double brick wall. Did the job.

It fits properly in the core and no problems when drilling. The enlarged thread makes it more robust.

Would not fit the associated TCT Core Drill. I.E. the thread of product TCD-SDS250 is too large a diameter to fit product TCD110.
Does the job. Does it well. Simple reserve and collect process. Everything spot-on. Sensible price too.
Does the job. It's a big hunk of metal attaching my drill to a TCT bit.
Had to get the first one exchanged due to a faulty thread, the second one worked without issue for the (w)hole job.
