Purchased to drill through a brick wall for a bath waste pipe. This did the job but it was hard going- I cannot imagine a pro using it and you can see why a diamond cutter would be better- but all in all it did a one off job - and fair performance for the price
Its broke my drill. I cant get this bit out of my drill despite stripping down the head. Its stuck solid.

Your staff eventually discovered that the 22mm thread on the Abor first supplied was defective preventing correct use. This caused me significant disruption and wasted time including an extra car journey
Bought to use with TCT core. It works. Decent value.
This did the job but has some limitations. As you will see from the image, the shank isn't pierced unlike all of the others that I have seen so you can not pass a metal bar through to help in the changing of core drills. Perhaps you could clamp via the protruding nut but chances are you'll bend it. I ended up clamping the SDS end into a vice to get the core drill off, which chewed up the metal. Also only a very narrow diameter guide drill can be inserted 5-6mm, which isn't great.
Bought as part of a combo to drill a 40mm hole through red brick. Worked great for a great price. Can speak to the longevity but didn't seem to be any the worse off after use.
Not a bad bit of kit but after an 3/4 of an hr the old one snapped in drill( had to put in for repair as couldn’t remove from drill ) I hope this replacement last longer abd I don’t need to put it under so much stress;( the replacement one )
Simply awesome. Atattched the core bit, inserted arbour simple thumb turn screw/lock drilled out with ease. Removed arbour removed this adaptor back into the case. Job done.
Did the job, no issues at all. Allowed me to extend cutting range of an existing drill

As I think others have pointed out, the thread on a TCT arbor is slightly larger than that on a diamond core drill arbor. So this one won't fit into a diamond core drill and the diamond core drill arbor may be damaged if it's used on a TCT cutter. I returned this one because it was going to be too short to get through a double brick wall and swapped it for the longer version. That worked fine. You do really need the 8mm pilot drill to have a flat on it for the pinch bolt to work effectively. Probably worth lubricating the thread before using as the cutter can get extremely tight on the thread after use.

The pilot drill would not fit far enough into the adaptor for the grub screw to secure it. I will return them
