Good quality brass. The brass nuts make it easy to change the washers.
The washer-&-replacement jumper combination caught my eye. Many other replacement washers are too hard and fail in a granular way. I had faith in the Tool Station combination and that faith repaid me well. No drips; no squeaks; and the motion is soft and silent during the off-on-off cycle.
