Fitted new set of kitchen taps with flexi hoses need an adapter so to couple with push fit system

I was replacing a set of mixer taps in a bathroom sink. They came with flexi tails which I usually replace without problem straight onto an isolator but I recently had a problem with a flexi connector that wouldn't seal so I've gone down this route. A far better way of making the connection. You can tell the difference the flat mounting surface makes as soon as you pinch up the connectors

Works exactly as designed. Didn’t know about these until I had to fix a leaking flexi pipe connected in to an isolation valve. Topped off with a bit of WRAS Ferrox. Couple of quid and about half an hour with my head under the sink.
Needed a pair of these quickly, Toolstation had in stock, bought them Job done.
These adaptors are great, nicely made and provide a neat solution. The plain section plugs into a valve or compession fitting and the threaded part accepts the flexible tail with the rubber seal. The adaptor is faced off to be compatible with the rubber seal. It seals well just nip up the nut ,don't overtighten .

Fits nicely. No drips on first use. Good quality brass tails for compression to 1/2 BSP tap type screw fixing, to avoid washer being cut by sharp chamfered end of compression fitting

These work great, no leaks and easily fitted without damage to the 1/2" tap tail washer.
A must for taps that have flexible 1/2" unions. Attching the flexible pipes directly to isolation valves can damage the rubber washers as the valves are not designed for this.
