Lovely tool, good quality and worth the money. I needed something for accurate cutting and this is perfect.
I have thought about adding a pull saw to my tool kit for awhile. So glad I heve absolutely great, bought with the 13 too blade and now adding the21 too blade.
Nice tool , its sharp , cuts hardwood easily, and fingers ,
Bought this to to have an accurate edge before using the miter saw to make neat joints
I've only had it for a week and I'm going to get another one! Sharpening my tenon and gent Saws is now at the age of 65 giving me eyestrain!!! So I thought I'd now have a bit of a change and go for pull Saws and I'm not disappointed, they take a little getting used to but we'll worth the effort, the saw came with 13 tpi blade and I bought the 230 21tpi blade which is a dream and not particularly expensive to replace.... Thanks Toolstation and Tajima as you've made an old man very happy..... Enjoy.
I was impressed with quality of this saw and I think it was good value for the money
Wonderful, easy to use pull saw. It fulfills all my basic wood sawing needs.
Got this with both blades to build a stitch and tape canoe. It's great, super accurate and a nice edge.
Easy to use, incredibly sharp and ideal for the job,.
Lived up to expectations but a bit too aggresive for fine work so I use 21 TPI blade
This is a fearsomely sharp saw and the handle is comfortable but gets in the way in some circumstances. Pull sawing takes some getting used to because the sawdust is deposited on the cut line.
13tpi blade is relatively thick and cut rates are equivalent to bahco push saw. Hence4*. The 21tpi blade is thinner, so cuts across the grain are crazy quick and little effort. Good accuracy. I found the gentle pull induced an almost zen state ( 10 stars!)
The blade is just ridgid enough to allow a little flex and make those finer cuts without flexing and causing tear out on surrounding material. also ordered the 21 TPI blades but the standard 13 will do just fine for day to day joinery
Cuts beautifully. Feels good in hand. Blades can be changed / replaced
