Unfortunately this radiator valve does not work with the Pegler Mistral II valves fitted to my radiators. I'm keeping it in case I ever need to replace one of my valves in the future.

Easy to install, and clearly quite smart. Can now track the temp at the room. Still suffers a bit from referred heat due to the Uk way of mounting these things (ie above a hot pipe) but a bit less so.
Makes a small actuator noise when adjusting but otherwise keeps my room at a more accurate and stable temperature. Will also notice if I left the window open and prompt me to turn off the heating.
Didn’t need the adapters for my particular cheap TRV head (think it came free with the radiator) so once I’d figured out the way to take the old one off it was a straight swap and a 1 minute setup process.
Suspect it’ll take quite a long time to save money and there is an argument to run all radiators well balanced at a lower flow temp for more even heating and no vampire drain into unheated or colder rooms, but I like that an individual room can call for heat.
Overall would recommend if you can spare the cash.
The Tado Smart TRV was purchased to supplement others I already had. It has been reliable and the Tado App has all the flexibility I need. The installation and activation process is very simple, the learning curve is the first one you fit, the others are easy after that.
The offer price at Toolstation beat competitors by a few pounds and I had no doubt about receiving good service so purchased online without hesitation.

I already have the tado starter kit and I bought this to control a bedroom radiator fitted with Drayton Trv3. Tado says it’s not compatible ( competitor?) but I used one the supplied adaptors to fit it. (28 to 30mm using longest plastic pin). Seems to have calibrated ok and is controlling temp as per schedule. Took a bit of experimentation but I’m pleased and avoided buying an extra adaptor. Product is well designed and looks good. Happy customer
I've already got multiple Tado products (room thermostats and a wireless extension) around the house, but this is my first radiator thermostat. I needed Tado support to configure it but this was quick and easy to do. Delivery from Toolstation was quick and the price, as always was extremely competitive. Recommended.
Two more purchased, TADO data shows 29% less gas used than last year this November to date. I fitted some last year so going to do 2 more rooms. App also says 2 degrees warmer last year for same time period.
