Quick and easy to install. Had to 2d print the stand becomes it doesn't come with it.
Potato is a very capable and useful heating system available at discount for less than £100 which is a bargain.
It is very simple to use, but but there’s everything you would possibly need in a home and this accessible through the phone app.
At the price Toolstation offer, this is a tough product to beat

I have several heat-pump type mobile AC units and wanted to integrate them into my fully voice-controlled house. The stand-alone Android app is a bit clunky but works well; Alexa integration is another story. The unit got stuck for ages updating it's firmware but that eventually got sorted. It recognised the AC on one click of the remote. Alex integration only allows heat/cold, on/off and temperature, no option of fan only or change fan speed, very poor. Also no stand or wall mount included, just a couple of nasty double sided strips. I did manage to buy a third party stand, but the shape of the unit does not seem to accept any wall mount, unlike the heating version. The unit has capacitive control by touch, which is very hit and miss, causing significant irritation. Product has potential with firmware updates and better integration but not really ready for market yet
I love this Gadget and it works brilliantly without the need for a hub. Did try a Sensibo before this which was total rubbish and unreliable. Totally recommended the Tado
The device works well, easy to set up with the app and communicates with the AC unit well. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the mounting/fixing for the unit is 2 double sided form stickers. No bracket or anything substantial to secure it is a bit disappointing.
