I found these cameras quite easy to install. scanning the QR code on the camera enables the latest firmware to be installed on the camera and you can update the cameras for future updates. The cameras work fine on my phone. You can turn on or off notifications if you don't want your phone pinging. You still get the video clip just no notification if turned off. I have seen some reviewers state that the cameras keep dropping connection and they had to push the reset button. Maybe Swann addressed this problem because mine have not dropped out once yet, been up for a few weeks now. One thing I found is that it would be so much better if the cable length could be shortened with proper jack etc. My front camera only needed about 4 metres of cable and the cable length supplied is huge. That means I have to stow a large bundle of cable. I constructed a small box to accomodate the excess cable and plugs etc. All in all I am very happy with my purchase. These cameras are not too expensive and they offer a good level of protection.
cameras do not pair up with phone tried to different phones still nothing
I bought two of these to add to the current Swann SWWHD-Outcam's that have around the outside of my home. These camera's have a built in antenna and go off line at least twenty times a day. They are only 20 feet from my wireless router, either there is something wrong with them from the factory or they are junk!. I will say the SWWHD-Outcams with the external antenna never have had any problems in the last three years and they are 40 feet from my wireless router.
Camera disconnects itself regularly and I am not able to access live footage. Contacted Swann several times, their customer service is actually very good to be fair, they have helped but camera still disconnects on a regular basis.
Your website does not provide enough information on your products. I purchased these cameras thinking they were IP cameras, they are not. I’ve wasted my money trying to find the right cameras which shouldn’t be so hard to find. Not happy at all. Update your website to include more specifications on each camera, not just a paragraph of their features!!
Went well for the first 2 weeks then when I updated the app they both won’t play back video so not very happy about that
Cameras can not be on or connected for live view
I'd love to leave a positive review but I haven't received this item yest, nearly a month after ordering it. i have recieved no communication regarding the order either. Checked my account this morning and it says the order is complete, then a request to review the order pops into my inbox!
Downloaded 2 different apps neither worked

Buy a different brand any other is better than this
The camera it's self is not the problem, it is the app. I have had too many issues with not being able to see my camera views on the app. Very frustrating. Make me wonder if I should have gotten another brand.
