It does what it is supposed to but ask me again in 5 years! It only has one function, it works in which case it is fine or it doesnt work so its a failure.
Great piece of kit would recommend this
Great idea and very handy. Installed this after a recommendation by water network technician and very pleased I did. Isolates water supply at the push of a button with no rummaging under sink
Didnt know this existed until our plumber mentioned it, saved us a lot of hassle in having to think of a way of leaving the stopcock out when boxing a toilet in.
WARNING - our carpenter used the stopcock without my knowledge and when he switched it back on he broke our washing machine and caused air to get into our system which took a while for me to diagnose and sort. The sudden burst of pressure was lucky only to break the dishwasher and not other pipes. I would suggest turning off the water from a stopcock tap if you have used the button in an emergency and then gently ease the tap open again after you have switched the surestop back on to avoid damage to your system.
It's temperamental when switching off and easy to accidentally switch slightly and built of fragile components that likely won't last all that long. In hindsight it's a good idea that's badly implemented with cheap components - would expect better quality for the price.
These should be fitted by law
It’s very easy to instal and works perfectly.
Turn you mains water off like a light switch and there is no pressure loss
Fitted for a customer with very bad arthritis
