Fantastic device for any home. Water on and off at the click of a switch! They install easily (plumber needed if you don't have the skills yourself), work really well and last around 10 years from experience. Much easier to have the switch in a cupboard or on a wall, than struggling to turn off the stop cock in an emergency. Highly recommended! Can buy cheaper elsewhere, but why would you when these guys have them on the shelf for same day fitment.
Good product for people who struggle to access water valves
This has to be the end of the domestic stopcock. A burst pipe in the bathroom caused many thousands of pounds worth of damage 2 ceilings, 3 floors, 2 walls, carpets from top to bottom and renovated bathroom). A lot of the damage could have been avoided if the main stopcock was accessible. I fitted the Surestop Remote Pushfit Stopcock with the switch on the wall of the cupboard, at the back of which is the main stopcock. I hope I never have to use it in an emergency.
Easy to install, good quality product, good value for the price

I recommend these to elderly customers and those I find to have a non convenient access to their stop valve, I've read some reviews about them leaking and have honestly never had that problem in any of the one I have fitted so can only put that down to 1 of two things: user error or unlucky to receive a defective product, have one installed in my own home as it's always worth when going on holiday or away from home for an extended period of time shutting off the mains water.
Excellent, versatile product these Surestop Stopcocks are. I have now fitted two in my new kitchen to make isolation of water supply more convenient. Fitted inside a kitchen cupboard the first isolates the incoming mains water supply and the second I fitted to isolate the outside taps during the cold winter months.
Eady to install, these save the bother of getting onto your hands and knees to get to the stop locks at the back of the cupboard, now can be isolated at the flick of a switch.

These are the bee’s knees! Very easy to fit (depending on the situation of the original stop tap). I’ve fitted 3 so far and it makes the world of difference. Particularly to the elderly or infirm. Highly recommend. Although they aren’t particularly cheap, they’re a lot cheaper than the damage that a burst pipe could do.
Does exactly as it says on the tin, however, I prefer to install it past the Stopcock for older customers when possible, in order to make life easier should the worst happen.

what a great idea, much easier to quickly shut off the water
I installed a 15mm SureStop mains isolation valve with remote switch and it is absolutely brilliant.
No more pulling back the carpet, removing the floorboard and leaning down to turn off the cold mains, now I just turn the water off with a switch so simple anyone can do it.
Great product, with a switch can isolate water so no need to access stop cock. Simple non electric valve.

This is ideal for hard to access water stop valves, especially for elderly or people with movement issues. The on-off switch can be quite a long way from the valve. Then a flick of the switch turns the water on or off. Brilliant! Every home should install one.
Fitted this for an old dear. Her stopcock was behind her built in washing machine.
