Good bit of kit? Unfortunately replacing an existing surestop that stopped working in the off position. This left us without water at all until plumber could get a replacement and fit new one. The original did last for approx 12 years but wasn’t used that many times.
An excellent product that makes it so easy to tur the water off
Easy to install and works really well. Should have installed one years ago as it is so much easier to isolate the water supply than the traditional stopcock, which are prone to seizing.
Handy and easy to fit, very handy for everyone as well as the elderly
Have had to replace a number of these over the last few years, they are very susceptible to any debris where there has been an external burst in the street and the utilities company have repaired. They then end up stopping water flow and cannot be repaired

Everyone should get one of these. Stops the water at a press of a button. No more trying to turn a stuck stop tap when the water is leaking.

Easy to install and a lot easier to use than the traditional stop cock! In an emergency water needs shutting off just the flick of a switch and it’s done! Great for the elderly and less able people who may struggle with turning off the stop cock. Fitted 100’s and not had any issues yet!!
Love this thing. Replaced an awkwardly placed seized brass stopcock with this and it’s so much better. For a start it actually works but is so easy and convenient to operate. Has worked perfectly every time.

These are easy to use and fit but I do think they are about 50% overpriced .Only time will tell if they seize and fail like traditional brass ones as they are only used in emergency situations
Fitted a few of these now, both remote and not. Thoroughly recommend for anyone with arthritis etc that means a conventional stopcock is difficult to use or where access is an issue. Not had one fail yet!
