Brilliant piece of kit, so many uses Wii be in my tool kit of favourites
Good idea but too bulky to use in the situation I wanted it for (tight space) - head is surprisingly bulky which limits value of extra wide wrench (as if you have lots of space a bigger standard wrench is better.
Great for plumbing fittings, wide jaws and shortish handle make great combination
Needed a wrench to remove a basin waste nut. This wrench was very useful and easy to handle as it is very light.
Absolute rubbish. Made of soft material that bent on first use. Do not buy, spend more and have one that lasts.
No problem with the service from Toolstation, the staff were very friendly and helpful. This tool however, is about as much use as a chocolate teapot. I bought it for tightening a shower manifold in a very restricted space in the loft, it was the only tool I could find with large enough jaws. But it's so flimsy it doesn't grip. And not cheap either. Rubbish.
Suitable for it's designed purpose not so much anything else. It is light, and easy to get into tight spaces, it is however made of cheap aluminium and as such snapped when used with too much torque.
This was entirely due to my own fault and should it be used for plumbing related tasks I believe it would be fine.
Toolstation! Great Communication and the items were ready for collection quickly. The item was as described, and I am very happy with my purchase and would definitely use Toolstation again 😁👍👍
Shortly after purchasing this for £20+ I found this for sale for £6- elsewhere...I would've been inclined to give 4 Stars had the price been cheaper! doesn't retain the (set) size well but the stubby Handle (short length) makes leverage poor but fits where other will not?
Does what it should do. Not a heavyweight tool but sufficient to the job i wanted
Bought to install a 50mm SWA gland. TBF I wasn't holding out much hope, but this was all I could get in the timeframe that had a large enough jaw. It has exceeded my expectations, ideal for the job and am also now using this on smaller SWA glands In preference to my other adjustables. Yes its light duty, but horses for course. well worth the money.
I needed a wrench that fitted a 60mm nut in a tight spot and this was just perfect. It was a nut that didn't want to be over tightened but more than hand tight.
Very flimsy, ended up buying another.
Doesn’t grab.
Very lightweight almost flimsy. Seems a very cheap metal.
Bought this to tighten a waste trap on a wash basin which it is ideal for. The short handle is great for tight spaces. Would recommend.
Brought to tighten up a 50mm swa gland and worked perfectly, haven’t used to much force with these yet but seem as they should hold up
Soft metal. Aluminium possibly. As such deform with any kind of force. Would not recommend
Able to adjust very quickly and easy to use in limited spaces. Made from aluminium I think, anyway lightweight so not a load on an outstretched arm. I added a home made extension for leverage where needed. The metal is soft so adjust the jaws correctly before applying pressure.
Useful adjustable spanner especially for plumbing jobs
You need this type for certain jobs. Large nuts around basin trap etc. Wide enough for immersion heater element. Good investment and quality.
