Bought these to fit a solid oak door, which is very heavy. Hinges do the job and no issues with the way the door hangs

I bought this to weld onto the lid of an oil barrel BBQ and they're perfect. They're completely unfinished mild steel so required no preparation and even though they're a couple of mm thick, they welded to the barrel on a low setting without blowing through the barrel wall. They don't seem to be made for an exterior installation, so they will probably need finishing if used on a gate or similar. I suspect they will rust very quickly, so I blew over mine with high temp paint. I would say they would be fine protected from the elements on a shed or garage door.

The thickness of the hinge is reassuring to be strong however the hinge itself seems a little poor quality, lots of play etc. I’d pay more next time and get better

Nice heavy hinges for a good price. I have used these to hinge my raised bed covers. Hopefully they will last a few years.

Used to re-hang the garage door. Did double up, just for my reassurance and over kill. Afterall they are holding a lot of weight. Todate they are doing the job without any worries.
great hinges I used them on a steel locker therefore they where welded on, not bolted. Did the job great
It’s a hinge. But it is strong and it is grey exactly as described. I used them to fit an old kitchen work surface to the top of a cupboard I made in my shed. So the top could be opened for access to the storage space I’d created and it would double up as a seat. Very strong hinges perfect for the job I needed them for.
