Did the job, much better than a rope and very fairly priced. Make sure both towing point and tow point on other car same side and didn’t push it in speed , max 20 mph, but very happy with this item
Afraid cannot give a review of this product, as in the end, I did not need to use !
However "return" (as item never left Toolstation !) was easy, quick and painless due to experienced, friendly demeanour and expertise of Toolstation staff. (5 Star all round)
Very strong and solid construction. Towed my son's car to the garage without any problem, no twisting of tow bar evident Would recommed and good value for money.
The photo does not resemble what arrived. Says it's for 2000,kg pull.
This lasted for less than a 1km, then it bent.
Took it back and realised it's not anywhere near what is described in the photo, bad weak new design. Not worth buying unless you are pulling a very very small car.
Thought it would be rubbish because of the price but actually it is perfect worked s treat
I got quoted £300 for a recovery vehicle so I bought the towing pole, fitted together well, when towing the car behind it worked perfectly

very light weight and easy to use, very strong even though it doesn't fell like it.
Brilliant piece of kit, easy to assemble and use, much safer than a tow rope and less likely to damage either vehicle
Great product, used it to tow a Ford Transit van with no problem. Much better than a tow rope. Definitely recommend.

Easy to use, towee ony needs to steer, less chance of being rammed under braking.
very cost effective and works well, although one end would be helpful if it fitted on a tow bar or around the shaft under the tow ball connection
Did the job fine but could do with a flexible joint to make process of joining the 2 cars easier, like the ones the AA use.

Good strong piece of kit. As long as it's fitted and used correctly, it does the job it's supposed to. I can only assume that those who managed to bend it, weren't. Also great value.
Towed a Peugeot 107 and the bar bent as I braked .supposed to be rated at 1800 kg and bent towing nearly half that .
It did the job but it's not strong at all. It actually bent a bit at lov speed on a bumpy road may be ideal for short distances.if needed to be but nothing .anor
Fairly simple to fit and soooo much better than a tow rope :-)
Great piece of kit this is. I towed a Transit van over 60 miles with my Vito no problems whatsoever. In fact I was surprised how sturdy the bar was as it doesn’t look all that strong but it definitely is.
