Works no problem, doesnt overheat and is pretty quiet
Purchased for a pre-planned power-cut. Worked all day off an old 12v car battery. More than sufficient for the hub, several device chargers, light, and did not once trigger the over heating fan. Very happy
Used while away as backup electric did the job no worries
I was surprised that Tool Station actually sold this item let a lone had it in stock at our King's Lynn Store for collection. The inverter came with an adapter for the inside of a car/van and also a set of leads with croc. clips to clip straight onto a battery ,which is what we needed. So again surprised that we didn't need to cobble something together for this. The item was so simple to use. Clip onto a charged battery, plug in the garage lighting circuit and switch on. Worked first time. Plus ....as usual at KL...used Click and Collect....took less than 60 secs. to pop in and out of the Store.
Toolstation always have what I need in stock at short notice, with a fast a speedy service from their polite and helpful staff
When they work they're fine, but I've had problems. Bought one in Apr 23, it stopped working Aug 23. Returned under warranty and got a replacement. That stopped working May 24. Contacted the maker but no response. Bought a different one from another source. That failed 22 Aug 25 so I bought another Streetwize inverter. That had no output from the start so I returned it.
When these work they're fine but long life doesn't seem to be thing from my experience.
Low price but great performance. Using my caravanbattery, it ran my freezer, central lheating pump, wifi, landline cordless phone, and charged my mobile during a shceduled power outage and the colling fan didn't even need to come on. In fact, it barely got warm at all. I'm usually quite cynical about buying the cheapest and expecting it to work, but this time I was pleasantly surprised. It even came iwth spare fuses! So handy to have in the event of a powercut. I almost felt I was cheating while the power was off. Definitely reccommend you buy this inverter if you need an emergency back-up system in the event of a powercut or need a mains supply when camping etc. .
Does exactly what it says on the tin, perfect little inverter for in the back of my car for printing and such
Exactly what I needed for 5 days without electricity after the storm. Plugged into my EV and ran an extension into the house. I have a wood burner and this provided enough power for a lamp, TV, and internet. Made the experience far more tolerable. Kept us sane.
Very Easy to install and does what it needs to. Charges my makita batteries in my van when driving. IDEAL and great price
Good quality does what it says on the tin. Slim design quiet fan.
A functional piece of kit. comes with the necessary leads, easy to connect and use, even had a Spare fuse provided. Good price compared to other suppliers.
did exactly what it said in the catalogue and what ir was made for. excellent
Provides power as described, but at a very loud noise. Generates a lot of heat, and not suited for long drives.
Straight swap one out one in no problems works great
Great for charging up various small pieces of kit in car
Great for camper van use. Blew up airbeds with ease.
Used to blow up a Lidl double air bed while camping which required 150w so connected straight to car battery worked well
Not great, have had to replace these multiple times to the point the store is directing me to the manufacturer. I have had around 8 of these over the last year over 3 vehicles.
They have been fitted properly and not overworked.
Mainly been used to charge a small cordless drill.
Great product for powering my LED lighting in the rear of the van
