Stormguard uPVC Universal Seal Black 20m

I went to local glazing company for this product and told only place to get it was online. Not so! Local toolstation came up trumps again! Perfect for my upvc door gasket replacement.

Worked well, maybe install above 6C, but with a bit of faffing and brute force of strong fingers and thumbs, it went in and we now have a draft-free pair of patio doors.

Product was available in different lengths. We got the 20m tub. It was easy to fit and trim, and what a difference! The old seal was dry and cracked, but now we've replaced them with this, there's no more drafts through the windows. Easy and will save us money on our heating bill. Can feel the difference straight away and can't hear outside as much either. Fab!

Good quality generic replacement for the original, different profile to the original but still did the job well

Had to buy this as my father in law’s front door had let in a huge amount of water in the recent storms. It fitted perfectly and sorted out the leak. Easy to fit (woman, modest diyer) and well worth the money as there is loads left for any other leaky emergencies.

Worked a treat, no more draughts

The rubber seal was easy to fit once the old seal was removed from the door surround. I used pointed tweezers for this.

Decent seal to replace some very old and some not-so-old seals in uPVC windows and doors.
Slot widths in windows do appears to vary - some windows were easy to fit and some very hard so check before the width before you buy, it isn't truly "universal".

I needed too replace the seals on bathroom window and front door, after removing the old seals and cleaning the areas the new seal fitted easily in place. The corners were a little harder to do but a little washing up liquid on the seal did the trick. I am very happy with the product.

Based on the one window completed so far seems good. Fits ok, bends round the corners ok, seals as it should.

Followed instructions on packaging and replaced door seals in ess than 10 mins!

This was Better and easier to use than I first expected it gives a good Draft proofing as well really impressed with the results around my French Double Glazed Doors

Used washing up liquid in water to wash down and lubricate the channels before fitting

First class material ecellebt fitting very worthy purchase would 100 percent recommend

preparation is the key after getting the old brittle seal out i found spraying a little silicone spray helps it fit quickly

Excellent product, has cured my draughty doors, very good quality, quick and easy to fit.

Easy to use. Did the job. The hardest was part and taking the old seal out.

Had some of this before Great quality and easy to do, make sure you clean out with soapy water inserting new, makes massive difference on noise levels when done.
