Great with being low level however just be careful if you want to put a mat or deep carpet infront of door as not much door to floor clearance.

It won't win any awards for good looks but it does stop a draught. The back of my external door is flush with the rear of the threshold, preventing the use of a standard draught excluder. This was a good solution. The manufacturer claims to make a version for outward opening doors but I have yet to find one for retail.
Does the job as should. Sealed my door threshold and easy to install. Just make sure you clean and replace any timber rotted.

It’s probably been 15 to 20 years since I first fitted one of these transition draft excluders to our front door. The front rubber seal finally parted company with the aluminium extrusion. I re-purchased the same product and just swapped out the rubber seals as the aluminium strip itself was still firmly attached to my stone step. A little bit fiddly… but totally doable.
This strip was a game changer for my 120 year old wooden front door, that had never been off its hinges in my life time and wasn’t coming off any time soon. I had to remove a small sliver from the bottom of the door, which back then suddenly became possible with the advent of the multitool. With the addition of external around the frame draft excluders there were no more drafts, absolutely marvellous!
Easy to fit, clean looking and effective, this works particularly well with the matching rain guard.
Good product, works well,if fitting to an old door there's not much room for error in height though.

Ordered this to compliment my new door. It is very slim and fitted without needing much adjusment to either door or frame
Feels solid. Well built. But still easy enough to cut with a hacksaw to shape into the threshold. Fits really well and once figured out how to heighten and lower the door from the hinges to get the correct clearance the drafts are gone and the door feels nicely sealed.
