Very disappointed, 3 of the 6 bars were badly bent and 1 had the screw pack missing. Trivial, but important to me and my client
Does not come assembled so you need to slide the brush into the metal yourself - however as others have commented it is extremely tight. Even lubricating, I could only get it about half way along. It then jammed and wouldn't go either way. Complete waste of money
Cut to size, screwed it on and bobs your uncle.....draught free door. SIMPLES.
Very difficult to insert brush into suppport. Easy to fit andd works ok.

The brushes were very difficult to insert into the mount - eventually we sawed them in half to insert as 2 sections; in hindsight the cold probably made matters worse so make sure to insert the brushes into the mount while still indoors!
This comes with exactly the same number of screws as screw holes so I had to buy more screws when I dropped and lost one of them.
Time will tell how well this manages to seal my garage.
Good product and as others have commented on just widen the groove to make fitting easier.

A bit fiddly to get the brush strip into the holder but once in and cut to size it was easy to fit. Very worthwhile as it has got rid of a cold draft from the bottom of the door.
Bought the Stormguard Heavy Duty Brush Strip in aluminium. It was a bit fiddly to put together at first, but once assembled it was very easy to fit. I rubbed a little candle wax on the strip so it slid into place more smoothly – worked a treat. Overall, a solid and effective product.
Works well, easy enough to adjust to length with a hacksaw. Comes with screws as well. It is a tight fit to slide together, so be prepared to deburr and maybe widen the end of the groove. Custom lengths for whatever application you need, mine was for a wheelchair accessible door that was over 900mm wide.
Item came in two seperate pieces and was very difficult to fit together.Gap to insert the brush was not wide enough and so had to widen to fit.

I’ve used this a cover to hide a pocket door but the quality of the metal and the brush is great. Can easily be cut down to fit the required size.
This is a sraightforward brush type draught excluder with longer than usual bristles. Simple to fix the aluminium brush carrier with the screws provided. Works as expected and worth buying to deal with larger than usual gaps.
