This is a flimsy piece of stamped out sheet metal with a brush of thinning bristles. The price tag is inappropriate for goods of such low quality.
Needed to replace the plastic draft reducer on my front door as successive delivery drivers had bent it out of shape making it difficult for the postman to put smaller packages thru the slot. The pros it’s metal not plastic, easy to install, reasonably priced Cons: brushes look glued in, will be interesting to see longevity, the metal is quite flexible, would be nice to have a flap

The brushes are only held in place, by adhesive pads so how long this will last till they fall off I don't know? & the screws I had to replace as they burred the top when first screwing them in. Plate could have been made 2" shorter, to wide in my opinion, apart from these I can only give it an OK.
Will do the job nicely and help keep drafts out. Not had time to fit but looks good.

I bought this product a week back and fit it in front of my door straight away and it looks great. I thought fitting could be difficult as i was doing it the first time by myself. Actually it took me from unscrewing the old one to fitting the new one in within 5 minutes. Only tool i needed was a screw driver.
My previou letterbox was making too much flappinh noise every time wind blows.
