My backdoor was leaking drafts around the tired double glazing seals.

Excellent product I'm using unusually in that I've stuck it to the bottom metal bar of 4 window blinds to cushion their contact with metal window frames when blown about in draught from open windows.
It stops any draft around door apertures and easy to install

Worked well for draught proofing the aluminium windows at my let. It's a good idea to make sure the paint/surface is very flat before applying.
I have used this seal many times and always have some to hand. The adhesive is very sticky and will stick to most surfaces, though for reliability I ensure the surface is prepared, preferably wood has a thin coat of spray of primer or gloss paint. Shape recovery is very good, providing it is compressed about 25-30% but no more.

Works alright on the internal door, though doesn't compress as much as I'd hoped. Real faff on the outside door.
This stuff is good if you have narrow gaps around your door or window...it fits nicely on mine. If you have wider gaps 3-5mm, then the 'P' shaped stuff is ideal. I tried the P profile, but it made the door hard to shut.

This does a great job at topping up the gaps in old windows and doors. It's quite low profile and was perfect for sealing the draughts after I replaced the original seals. It wouldn't have done the trick to weatherproof the house on its own, maybe look at the P-profile for bigger gaps. And when we all win the lottery, new windows and doors!!
Easy to use just got to find the draught. Clean area then apply.
