The stopcock was extremely stiff and in a very inaccessible place unless you happened to be a professional contortionist. This made the job of opening and closing it very much easier.

Had trouble unlocking an external water stopcock, and this seemed reasonably priced. I was pleasantly surprised by how solid and well-made this is — worked perfectly.

Works ok with new-build plastic multi-turn stopcocks. But wouldn't want to try it on old brass quarter turn taps; too flimsy for those.
Not used often but very useful when needed and at a realistic price.

Great useful tool to close the water outside the house, especially when your house stopcock isn’t working.
I brought this to turn off the stop cock suppling my property, But sadly it did not work. The stop cock was too tight, and the end of the rod, did not give me enough grip, to turn it and the handle too short to get and power to turn it. In the end had to call out the water board. IT took him about 30 second to turn it off. The rod he used had a small end to fit, better and the handle longer to get more power to turn it. So this will, be going back.
