Perfect Hinge for opening doors back on themselves giving room over the architrave
Really good hinges, at a good price and are well made
I bought these hinges for my office room doors and found out when fitted you end up with a 8mm gap down the hinge side If you chop them in flush.I ended up putting them in a vice and crushing the hinge flatter which solved the problem which saved the hassle of returning
Used 2 sets of these for a pair of doors on a storage box were I needed the doors to swing fully open. Good quality hinge. Screws supplied average. Note that there is a fairly big gap - over 5mm - between the hinges when closed. On price - a bit more than The other lot but cheaper than online.
Dont use them the product has not been manufactured correctly, you'll find that when installed. your left with a 8mm gap between the door edge and frame, the hinge does not butt together because the pivot fingers have been left straight they have not been bent far enough to allow the 2 halves to butt up flat hence the 8mm gap. now i'm left with 4 inch rebates and and having to source some other hinges.....Avoid!
No good quality. A bit of up and down movement and not well greased.
These do not close together, there is a 6mm gap even though the hinge is countersunk for screws. This means they need to be recessed much deeper into the door and frame, not really fit for purpose so need to go back.
A customer complained that their doors only opening 90 degrees due to their deep frames. This hinge allows the door to extend further out creating wider opening angles. It would also work if you have a protruding skirting board that hits the door when open. The hinges will stick out further than normal hinges, but because of how they are designed, it actually gives a nice accent to the doors.
As with the chrome the product is of good quality and heavy duty and would purchase again
Does what it says on the tin. Very nice finish, sturdy build, beautiful screws came with hinges. Nice stuff!
These are nice looking hinges and will look a treat on my new double doors. Available for collection the next day too.
These hinges are well made and nicely finished, just right for what i needed.
High quality product that im very happy with and sturdy enough to support a door although if i was ising them for a door i would use thre hinges i.e also one on rhe middle as im old school and this is the practice i have used for years.
I used these to support a lid of a trunk i had buuils therefore only need two hinges in this case.
Fitted to dining room door to allow it to open fully back to the wall avoiding architrave moulding around the door.
Nice solid feel to the hinges and come with matching brass finish screws.
Well, what can I say its a hinge
Whats disappointing is the stock control. Only 1 pair in folkestone and 1 pair in Canterbury and I needed 2 pairs. 2 trips, almost 20 miles apart one way. Yes, I could possibly have ordered them and waited, but when you have a job todo you need them now
Fiddley to fit but work well used on workshop door to give 180degree opening
Never used this type of hinge before but worked well on a door I wanted to open virtually 180 degrees. Product is very robust, heavy duty and looks the business. Installed today and did what I wanted very pleased with the outcome.
It includes some screws for fitting but if your just replacing like for like, then the screws just maybe a bit pm the small size both in gauge and length. Good that they tried though.
Well made hinges. I bought them to enable my new shed doors to swing wider to clear the cladding. They worked very well and I would use them again.
A heavyweight hinge made form quality steel - exactly what I’ve been looking for to hang doors
