This smooth running metal tape is a valued tool for me.
I have already used it. It has a good wind back spring but not too severe. It closes easily. The lock is efficient.
Getting it out of its wrapping was a challenge.

Both the imperial and metric scales are easy to read. The action of the tape is smooth. The locking action is easy. I’ve not used it to its fullest extent, but I am very happy with it so far.
I haven’t had a year. The measure wasn’t showing signs of hard use. And the riveted end has sheered off. Gonna try for a replacement as less than a year.
Excellent tape measure - good length, solid and sturdy
Great quality and easy to use. Has a thumblock so you can see the measurement without the tape reeling back in. Sturdily built and great value for money. Would recommend.
