Absolutely superb for the incredibly low price. Had some reservations reading other reviews but it did exactly what I needed it for - shaved half a centimetre off a swollen garage personnel door with ease and accuracy.
Good to keep in your tool box. Great for hard to reach places when you want to shave of a few mm easily.

Bought item to smooth down plasterboard edges. It did the job well and is just the right size. Well pleased.
The small retainer at the front of the surform blade had disconnected while still in the pack - only obvious when the blister pack was opened. The retainer did not appear to have any form of adhesive material (or whatever) on, suggesting this was a duff item when packaged up.

Does the job very efficiently, very sharp. It is light and better than a metallic one. I find it is more reliable than the metallic one and I have been satisfied with this product, hasn't let me down so far.

item just what i needed to finish & make smooth the cut edges of ply board after cutting to size. i purchased a finer blade as supplied was too coarse. The tool shape is a nice fit in the hand & i found it best to use a drawing motion rather than a pushing one to control the pressure being applied. Excellent "tool for a specific job" and an acceptable price.
There is no other tool that is better than this forming the cut edge of plasterboard there is nothing more to say

Works as well as they ever did. And to ease a door top edge, better than a plane as a plane gets stuck on the end grain, a Surform doesn't.

Reasonable, lightweight plain which did exactly what I needed for a minor diy task.
Cheap and cheerful. Does the job. Probably want to spend a bit more if your doing plasterboard work every day
