Great- once you can get it out of the packaging. I can understand the need for safety but this was ridiculous and i had to go back to Toolstation who also struggled.
Had my previous same model for years and loved it..till I lost it. Bought this to replace it. The ergonomics are spot on and the handle whilst new is not so tactile, it will bed in with use. My issue is with the push button - something has changed and it feels cheaper and less positive. It's good, but the old ways were better.
Pretty crap to be honest. Poorly moulded, hard to fit blade, sticky action, cheap plastic parts. Even hard to get the cardboard product card free of the knife! Got a refund. Oh dear, Stanley!

Bought ti replace older model. Nice improvements and a great Stanley knife.
Despite the positive reviews, I find the blade retraction mechanism to be erratic, certainly not smooth; consequently I find myself preferring to use my old fixed blade Stanley knife. I would not recommend this product.
Very poor knife i had to take 2 of them back as they were nearly impossible to open & put blades in the cardboard packaging had stuck them both up
