Great little thing, 2nd one ive bought, i use the 1st for an additional light on job source mounted to my welding helmet, and this one for its intended purposes! 2 stage light, low and high and a magnet at one end, i think at the price they are exc value, well made solid and it comes with x3 AAA batts, go and get one
I like the products of this company. But I was wrong about that.
The lamp is difficult to manipulate. It is a problem if I need to adjust it quickly. When I need to put it at a different angle I have to take it off my head.
Batteries run down quickly. Fairly uncomfortable if you wear it for longer periods. Good adjustability of angle of light and hi/low light setting

Not at all impressed and I returned it for a refund. Took ages to get the stupid packaging open, plastic mouldings trapped between two pieces of thick cardboard so almost un-recyclable. Very poor instructions with zero information on how to get the batteries in. Eventually I decided that the faceplate had to be removed but that needed a very small Allen key, none supplied with the torch. After rooting around in my boxes I found a key that fitted, BUT the of the four screws only one was loose enough to unscrew, the other three the Allen key just popped out of the socket. Gave up and returned it to Toolstation. Must say that this is the first time I have had to return a tool and I have been shopping there for over fifteen years.
bright light, battery lasts a long time, handy magnet, adjusting angle a bit awkward, could do with a spot light
Surprising bright - no gimmicks - great value - very useful - wish I had bought one of these years ago!
Bought 2 of these 150 lms and 300lms, as they are a Stanley product, I'm pleased I only opened 1 package, the 15v lms got returned unopened, it's got a good bright light, however its just a spread of light, nothing focused, a totally poor product avoid. There's better cheaper lesser known brands available.
Really pleased. These replaced my old ones that weren’t as good as these. Spot on!

Previous head torches I have had would get turned on in my bag or pocket not this one. Is very strong light. The magnet is very useful I work on gas boilers and it is great to keep the light where I need it. Only issue is the magnetic could be a bit stronger.
A very useful item in those dark corners.

The Stanley head torch works well and certainly does its job, haven’t had it long enough to see how long batteries last but so far so good!!
