Ideally sits right where you want it. Big enough loop so you don’t even need to look when replacing it.
Straight out of the packet, I noticed the bracket holding the loop to the leather was bent. On putting a 16oz hammer on the loop it broke away from the leather. I checked the back and it hadn't been riveted in place.
Closer examination of the loop shows it is supposed to be riveted to the thinnest piece of leather they could find. This would not withstand normal usage and will break!
Contact with Tool Station and they dispatced a replacement straight away. When this arrived, I could see without opening the packet it was the exact same with a bent bracket. This would suggest a manufacturing fault.
Tool Station= good service.
Stanley= Very poor even for a DIY Tool.
I would not recommend buying.
Great for keeping your hammer close to hand when you dont wont to wear a toolbelt. Really nice quality and great value, looks stylish too. Nice and supple leather with a good size metal loop to easily locate your hammer, i have also been using it to hold my drill/driver via the metal clip.
Broke before the tea brake at 10 o’clock on its first day
