Excellent jigsaw. Really like the speed control with the trigger and I find the v20 batteries are very good. Really handy bit of kit.

This was on offer at almost 50% off which included the 4AH battery and charger so at about £100 I feel it represents good value, especially when you consider the battery starter pack is £89 making this tool essentially £11. I haven’t had time to use yet but have inspected it and switched it on. It feels nicely weighted and comfortable in the hand, the on/off trigger feels good, the overall quality looks good to me. I like Stanley tools generally so will keep this for whatever light DIY bits I have and thanks to the battery it came with I can power the equally cheap Orbital Sander too which I’m happy with. Thanks.

I'll be honest, these are just first impressions rather than long term opinions, but it's a solid bit of kit, absolutely hammers through thicker wood when the oscilator thing is on setting 2. For the money, it's not like you have to commit to Stanley cordless tools to make the most of the battery, but if the rest of the range is this well made, it might not be a bad thing to consider it.

My old corded jigsaw finally gave up the ghost, looked on website and found the fatmax at nearly half price with battery. So grabbed one from my local cwmbran store, the staff there are so helpful, make you feel at home every time. Jigsaw is awesome and has handled everything I've put it upto so far.

This is the first jig saw I have ever purchased. I used it to cut Vinyl Click flooring for my bathroom. I found it really easy to use and mastered it quite quickly. The blade fitting is quick and easy. The battery, once charged, lasted for the whole job.
Good heavy duty well constructed jigsaw without the hassle of a power cord getting in the way. But it does weigh quite a bit, good for damping vibrations but not so good for intricate scroll working.
