Good tool, let down by a slightly insecure feeling pole. The quick couplings don't seem to tighten securely, leaving the polesaw feeling a bit 'wobbly' - especially when using it at maximum reach, with the extension piece added. Apart from that, it does what you'd hope it does, fairly easily. One point that niggles a bit is the lack of storage hook/clip for the extension piece, so while the tool and handle can hang on a rack or board, the extension piece has no means of hanging up.
Great reach of 4.5m. Works well cutting branches up to about 60mm diameter. Battery lasts well, and good to have a second battery on the way.
It cuts well and makes short work of small branches. However, the pole connections are not solid and there is movement in the join which is disconcerting. The screw join also comes loose

This is a great product which works well. Where this has fallen down is the misleading claim of a free battery. The finer detail reveals that this only applies to the first 8000 claims nationwide. There are other pole saws on the market which use the same chain for half the money. The supposed extra battery sealed the deal for me. For that reason and that reason alone this is being returned as being mis-sold. Not happy with Toolstation at all and doubt if I will use again.
It cuts of a fashion but no automatic oil feed for the chain. Pole connection “moves” even when tightened fully. Wish I would have bought the handheld version and used a ladder.
Good tool for high trimming without steps. Purchased on special offer, usually just receipt required, but all sorts of codes required. Then no contact. So unsure if I'll receive my gift. Not as yet?
Great little saw very easy to use.
On the heavy side but very useful , great value with a free battery.
