Really good knife ive used it for cutting insulation boards various thicknesses ,replaceable blades are available cheaply as well ,good for the multi layered foil insulation as well ,
Been getting sick of snap off knives snapping with the first slight twist to the blade, so thought I'd give this a try, and can confirm it's absolutely amazing! Doesn't snap the blade at all, unless you want it to!
Good sharp knife easy to use and adjust blade length
Bought this to cut 25mm solid insulation, which worked like a treat. I used a straight edge and did couple of runs which achieved nice clean cut every time without the mess that handsaw would create. I also did few cuts on 50mm insulation with the same result. It features a screw lock on the side that will hold your place from sliding out accidentally when carrying in your tool belt, but also will keep it in place when cutting to stop the blade retracting when you put a bit of pressure on. Also has an extra blades stored behind one you're using so they you don't have to worry about carrying a pack of them separately. The only design flaw for me would probably be the retainer of the blade that hold it from popping out when fully extended, as it is not very strong, however the blade lock if used will solve this problem.

Excellent heavy duty knife, well made, easy to use and thumb wheel to lock the blade in place. Extending blade allows slight flex when deaing with tight corners on windows etc.
Awesome snap-off knife. I've had cheap plastic ones and decided to upgrade. This is also bigger than you'd expect as it takes 25mm blades but that's the sort of thing I wanted, heavy duty. I'm using this in a garage environment so need tools with plenty of grunt.

Best features :-
- Holds 4 x 25mm x 10 snap off blades.
- Metal tool more robust than cheap plastic.
- Large 25mm blade.
Worst featuress:-
- Blades blunt quickly.
- All metal so quite heavy.
- Need to tighten stop wheel to hold blade extension in place. No click & lock mechanism.
- Expensive to buy
Best knive I thing on the market. Solid metal very well made. Well done Toolstation for selling them and delivery very fast too. Seems Stanley has thought this design through well.

Great for cutting in wall paper as you can have a long blade running along a straight edge.
then if the point is dull you can get use a new part of the blade.
