A quick check by reversing the level against an accredited artefact reassured me that this is an extremely accurate level, excellent quality for the price.

This level is strong sturdy and very reliable, we install gas risers up multiple storey tower blocks, accuracy is essential for in line of work in order for our pipework to look neat tidy and of course level.. Giving that professional feel, working for the gas industry on high rise blocks this product is an absolute fail safe for quality…
I bought this level to replace the existing fat max pro ive had for a number of years.
I wont say im outraged as such but im aware of how it differs from the original as ive got it still to compare, im just using it for a straight edge not a level.
The new one is not machined on both faces as was previously, meaning its only to be used off that one face instead of either ?
It no longer has rubber trim arpund the cutouts, which are also different.
A money saving excercise.
In My opinion, the quality has gone down and although it will still function, its not the same quality i expected to get.
They market it as a Pro level then reduce the useabilty of it ?
As a pro user do they not think youll notice ?
Frankly, the levels ok but im dissapointed and may yet return it if i find a more "pro" level in the meantime.
It's heavier than I expected for aluminium but I'm not saying anything after being invited to review one week after purchase. Six months after purchase may mean something
It does what it's supposed to do, it a level but not just a level it's an absolute solid level, I recommend
It works well and is quite sturdy, but is rather wide, making it a bit cumbersome. My one had a large burr around one of the handle holes, which had been coated along with the tool, so quality control isn't great
