Disappointing performance, does not have the standout length as claimed, droops easily, requires coating of Viagra, I would look for a cheaper product with a more rigid standout.
Very expensive tape measure but unfortunately the lock does not work properly. Impossible to pull the tape out for setting out because it retracts even when locked. I exchanged the first faulty one for a new one but this is exactly the same.

Another fantastic product from Stanley fatmax from Toolstation strong, easy to use with a brilliant outreach, the best tape ive ever purchased.
One of the better tape measures I've used. Not too heavy, smooth action and a wide tape. The interchangeable catch is useful and straightforward to change.
Its only been in use for a week, so it will be interesting to see its longevity. Currently my only criticism is the retract speed - its very slow, which can be annoying with a few metres unwound.
Great quality, sturdy tape can extend and hold its shape for over 3 meters so very useful, will hook easily or hold via the magnet
Good professional tape pricey but you get what you pay for
The tape is pretty rigid so extends well. It has two interchangeable ends for the tape, a larger plate and a magnetic plate. There is storage on the body for the spare end plate. The tape is wide and so it is bulky.
Great tape measure. Well worth the extra expense. Really like the magnet tip, makes retrieving dropped items from tight spaces a breeze! Also helps it to stick to stuff when measuring.
