After finding my 1200mm level wasn’t anymore I decided to give the Stanley fat max ago. Nice weighted and has hand holes for a good grip. Large box section so shouldn’t distort like thinner models. Large rubber ends should keep it true if dropped. Checked against my laser level and the vials were true.

Decent 6ft level handles make it easier to use on doing door linings. This is my 2nd 6ft fat max level in over 10years the old level was a lot heavier and took a few beating. Hoping this new 1 can last just as long or longer
The level itself is good usual Stanley quality, however the level i got had a small dent and a nick out of the aluminium so had obviously been dropped or something. Luckily it's still accurate enough.

A must have level for anyone involved in the construction of adoptable footpaths. Being the standard footpath width, means it is really easy to ensure the correct falls are achieved.

These really are the best I’ve ever owned. Perfectly balanced, lightweight and accurate. Probably not up to the punishment from a bricky, but all the same, a very good level.
