A great tape to use, not too big but strong and easy to read.

Didn’t last a month of light use before the blade cracked on the hook/3rd rivet. My previous ‘made in USA’ fatmax tape has over ten yrs of normal site use and still functional.
Maybe unlucky, will see how long the replacement lasts.
Great for longer distances without buckling. I pair with a smaller tape for mpre intricate jobs.

Quality tape surprisingly compact yet still feels more than durable enough and comfortable in hand can only knock that the length of tape body is covered by the clip
I've been buying these Fat Max tape measures with blade armour since they came out and found the last really well. This last two have lasted 4 years before cracking around the usual; 19 1/2" inch.
The can reach out 3 metres for measuring without support, but not on a windy day. Although they never really measure the 5 metre for long and always end up being really tight to get to 4.8m
They are accurate enough for most things on site.
Just make sure that if it gets wet, that you dry the full length down with some paper towel and a small lubricant to disperse any remnant water too prevent rust which will then ruin the tape.

These are great - I buy these for people to replace their terrible flimsy tapes. The standout is actually useable on site. The only tape better than this, is the metric-only magnetic version - which Toolstation really should sell!

Very good bit pricier than competitors but 32mm tape holds strong and doesn’t fold like the smaller widths when holding the tape out which can be annoying when up a ladder measuring against a ceiling
Great tape bought as a replacement as old fat max tape has small split after 3 years of constant use and abuse, but still functions with the help of sellotape. but got this one due to the great price, hope this one lasts as long. great out stand when measuring making it easer to use on your own.
forget the cheap tapes they don't last very long.
