I was expecting a quality product. This is much larger than my old imperial steel tape even though they are the same length. The reinforced end an hook does not tuck away neatly and ends up sticking out to get caught on something. The double sided hook is good so you can have either metric or imperial facing you. The open sides are supposed to let the dust out. But surely they also let the dust in so you would have to keep it in a bag. Also, good luck if you drop it in the mud or dirt. Probably will return this item and try and find something better.
