Stanley Basic Sawhorse

I love Toolstation. The guys in the branch I use in Gloucester are just super nice lads. I'm 64, and a retired Engineer, and the guys in Toolstation are of a wide age range - and always super friendly and helpful. For example - if you order online - they always use your first name when you collect. It's the little things that give me hope for this country......

As this was a Christmas present which is now no longer a surprise since you emailed me (the recipient) and not my wife (the purchaser) with your request for a review we are not in a position to provide one as the gift is not yet opened! Will not be buying surprise gifts from tool station again.

A well designed produce. Very sturdy, lightweight yet strong. Impressed with the thought that went into the design as it folds away very compactly for storage. One of the best pieces of equipment that I have bought in the recent past. I would recommend it to anyone.

Great if you need a lightweight option on level ground but not particularly stable with heavy or uneven loads

I bought a pair of these on the recommendation of the storekeeper but they aren’t height adjustable (too low for my purposes) and are a bit flimsy so I took them straight back and exchanged them for some adjustable steel trestles.

Lightweight and easy to fold away to stow in the van. Very strong and sturdy, great essential bit of kit.

No height adjustment, but otherwise really good.

This saw horse is very stable. In the pictures it looked thin and was expecting it to be a lot flimsier but it's heavy and solid. It feels like it can take a large amount of weight. It looks a lot more high-end than I was expecting. It's also easy to set up and it's great that you can clip both pieces together and carry it as a single item. I'm very happy with the purchase.

Pack away really well, fine for ripping down single sheets of ply and similar domestic jobs.

Really good value. Quite adequate for quick sawing of ply, chipboard, plasterboard etc. not the best for hand sawing. They move to easily. I have the very good dewalt for the majority of my work.

Product is easy to store and use. Takes up.less space in the van. Easily fits together.
Does exactly what you need it to do.
Pretty robust construction, much better than the plastic alternative

The trestles are compact and easily stored. The only downside out is The top bar is thin, compared to alternative products

Lightweight, sturdy and very user friendly. I would definitely recommend especially if you have limited space on your van.
