As with most things these days, the quality of the product has deteriorated. This is comparing it to one that I purchased previously.
Easy to bend. Easy to cut with tin shears. Versatile.
Product was just as described and in stock which was very important at the time.
Okay, 1 star is mean, the actual banding itself deserves 5 stars.
My banding was actually in three pieces though, when I got in the car after collection I noticed that the cable tie wasn't exactly tight, but I took no notice.
When I got to the job the banding seemed loose on the coil and not tight as was the last time I brought this, then I noticed silver gaffa tape on the banding in two places in the banding itself,
I uncoiled the band and sure enough my roll was in three pieces, with two joined to the other with gaffa tape as it had been rolled up.
My thoughts are that it was returned to store for some reason and just put back on the shelf, also I didn't have ten metres on my roll, it was just over 8 metres.
I was in desperate need of the product, so I had to use it, just be aware and examine the roll carefully, I could have used the extra metre and half to finish the job, but I had to use what I had to hand. Unable to return an item when you're in need to finish a customer's job on time.
Not entirely happy with the purchase of this.

if you are looking for multi use metal banding this one is good quality I used it to extend the legs on some chimney pot caps which will be exposed to weather so stainless all the way. good width easy enough to cut with snips
Used this all over a home i'm renovating. Good stuff at decent price, recommended!
