The Stabila LD 520 Laser Distance Measurer is an incredibly versatile device with a built in camera as well as being accurate to -1mm difference With a range of up to 200m, the LD520 incorporates a digital target locator camera with a4x digital zoom to accurately locate the laser point with cross-hair 2.4 colour LCD. The laser measure also incorporates a 360 inclination sensor for flexible measurement from any position displays 180. As well as host of other functions, the laser is protected inside the impact-resistant housing with shock-absorbent soft grip casing. Additional functions include length, area, volume, continuous measurement, chain dimensions, Pythagoras with 2 and 3 measuring points, minimum and maximum tracking, timer, distances, trapezoid, triangular area, inclination 180, indirect distances and heights, inclined objects, elevation profiles. The LD 520 provides measurements for distance, area and indirect height with both 2-point and 3-point Pythagorean calculations. This is for when there is no clear line of site between where to need to measure FROM and measure TO. With your measure, you can measure two sides of a right-angled triangle, and it will work out the third with its built-in Pythagoras functionality. Similarly, you can get the height of a structure without even being next to it, just by measuring your distance from the base and from the top, and you can measure the width of a building by standing some distance away and taking measurements from there. For added protection in all weathers, the Stabila LD 520 is IP54 rated meaning it is capable of withstand dust and water spray from any directions. For increased versatility as well as accuracy, the laser has a14 tripod thread. This allows connectivity with a range of tripods. Even though the laser has the capacity to hold up to 30 displays, all measurements, images and data can be wirelessly sent to a smart phone or tablet thanks to Bluetooth Smart 4.0 Technology to the Stabila Measures II measurement App
