Very poor instructions for setting the code. Had to phone the manufacturer to work it out
A heavy duty well made key box with easy to see & use positive buttons.
Simple, easy to install and secure. It's solid and well made. Apparently it weathers well.
Poor product, whatever code you set it doesn’t matter what combination of those digits you put in it will unlock it
Couple of issues I have with this product. Firstly it does not seem very water tight. A key left as a backup in it would certainly deteriorate. Main issue is the code you enter is not in sequence. That is if you program 123, then, 321, 231,213 etc also work. I have not tried breaking in , but I feel not that secure.
Sturdy construction easy to fit and use what more can you say about a key box
Difficult to use , plastic dislodges easy everytime there’s code to press to access , best if it’s when locking .
Good product, sturdy build, good value for money paid and would recommend.
Solid construction, straightforward to fit. Not so easy to operate the mechanism as others we use. Need to enter code again to close, and generally fiddly to use with one hand. Two hands easier. So if you are carrying anything, need to put it down, get key out, open the door - then decide if you want to put the key back in the safe, before picking up what you are carrying - or take the key in with you.
Easy to use ,looks neat & key pad is covered from all weather's.
Not a pad key safe, A little bit more expensive but worth the money.
Case was a bit flappy that would be my only criticism, not sure how long the plastic cover will last. Device itself seems very good and better than the rotary turn ones
Seems ok. I would like more options for codes but it’s probably as good as they get.
Does the job but some users have diffuclty getting the sequence of buttons pressed and held to get the flap open and especially getting it closed aas it is neccesary to hold te 'open' button down and entering the code before closing the flap.
Not a lot of room for keys with tags on, it’s hard to close if there’s key rings etc
Disappointed. Difficult to use and even more difficult to explain to others. "Clear" button is not labelled and it's direction of use is unexpected. Need to reenter code to close. No key hook and not enough space. Poor design. Do not buy it.
All as described. Sturdy and waterproof and large enough for car key
If you’re happy with a combination type lock this is fine and one of the cheaper options too.
This is the first key safe I’ve had and ok it does the job but I don’t think I’m going to use it in the long run. The first person to use it pulled the rain cover off it, they struggled to fit the key and keyring back inside because there isn’t a hook. I don’t think it’s really secure as I think I could break into it in 30 seconds if I wanted. I’m thinking of buying a better keysafe for around £100 or a Yale smart lock. Sorry for the poor review yes it did what I needed but it’s not for me. I’ve don’t it again, bought cheep and bought twice.
I needed a new box big enough to take a security key with a weather cover and this is perfect
Robust unit but a few negatives:
> There is no internal hook to hang the keys
> It is not explained anywhere, but the actual order of the code you set is irrelevant - so if you choose, say '557711' as your code, you can open the door with '157' - that is, it does not matter what order you punch in the numbers, and repeat numbers have no affect.
> You have to punch in the code again to shut the door up again - the key safes that use those fiddly rotating wheels can be just slammed shut.
