Great idea, maybe a little pricey for little bits of plastic, but does an excellent job
Bit stiff to get into the hole in the sink but did centre the tap well.
Make centralising the taps easy, to expensive for 2 pieces of plastic though
This is the first time I have used these and was very pleased with the results. They were simple to include during the fitting of a pair of new taps and prevented any issues with centralising the tail of the tap in the mounting hole. I will have no hesitation to use them again and can thoroughly recommend their use.
I wanted to check actual size of product as my washbasin tap holes were too small for different "universal" product. Staff member was helpful and happy to let me see before i bought. These fit hole of just over 3cm dia
I never replace basin mixer taps without using this under the basin to make sure the tap is centered to the hole. It also cushions the ceramic if a brass nut is used.
So easy to use lines up tap in hole perfectly. I’ve always had problems fitting it in securely without it wobbling around these ensure it’s a tight fit.
When I picked these up I did comment they looked abit small and sure e ough, unlike what it states on the packet they do indeed NOT fit 3/4 threads. You have to ream the inside out with a drill bit to make them big enough which means you then need to file them off to get rid of the plastic shavings.
Makes replacing basin taps so much easier, as without this washer they invariably move when being tightened
Not cheap, but they keep basin taps in situ. This is ideal stopping the taps from working loose. Highly recommend.
I'd cut the tap hole one size too big and needed to minimize any movement by securing the taps in place. Did the job perfectly and easy to use.
I spent ages trying to centre a pair of basin taps in the much larger holes in the basin. These work like magic - drop the tap into the hole, slip this washer over the threads under the basin with the tabs pointing up, and tighten the backnut.
Never knew they existed before. Had trouble centering taps on basin holes which let water by. Found these and solved problem in minutes at a very cheap cost.
Look just like a cheapo plastic washer but work amazing . Definitely solved the square hole round tap stem problem, tap holds down firm and centered.
Fantastic little gadget. Didn't know it was available before watching a plumber on utube. Really does centre the tap.
Split klik washer to help make taps central in sink tap hole, can file lugs down to fit different size holes
I purchased these to centralise my new basin taps on a basin with square tap holes.
Unfortunately they don’t fit... so it didn’t work !
Best invention yet to get them taps lined up and secure.
I discovered these centralising washers on Toolstations app. What a great product, makes it easy to tighten the tap.
