Short screws, not as the image, but as the spec. I wanted short screws to use to repair the drawer runners in approx 12mm pine furniture. These are perfect, allowing for the runners themselves.
You can find wood screws much cheaper, but in my experience these are worth paying the extra for. They drive in really smoothly and easily without a pilot hole and will get nice and flush without countersinking, pulling the wood joint together nice and tight. The metal is good quality and can take quite a beating with an impact driver before the heads start to get mangled. I usually only buy torx heads but needed this size in a pinch and have been pleasantly surprised with the pozidrive head on these.
Brilliant screws and available in store what more do you need
Nice screws that don't get mashed by your impact driver easily. Self tapping for the win.
Let me tell you about this tiny, majestic, stainless-steel sorcerer of rotational bonding. I bought it to fix a loose cabinet hinge. What I didn't know was that I was also fixing my soul.
First off, the threading on this thing? Chef’s kiss. It bit into the wood like a hungry raccoon in a compost bin. Zero stripping. Zero nonsense. Just raw, engineered commitment.
As I screwed it in (gently, like a gentleman), my wife walked in, saw the precision, the focus, the raw torque, and whispered, "You never looked at me the way you look at that screw."
We made eye contact.
The screw kept going in.
Our hearts did, too.
That night, we re-watched our wedding video.
The next morning, I ordered 500 more of these screws.
We’re now renovating the entire kitchen... together.
Buy this screw.
Fix your hinge.
Find yourself.
Bought as alternative to other purchases at same time as so didn't really use them but seems fine
When I want a screw, this is my screw of choice. A good hold and deep penetration!
Handy for wardrobe panels fixing + reasonable price
Screws, they look nice and they screw things together!
Screws, they look nice and they screw things together!
It's one of those simple items you take for granted...... until you're working on a job and find you have those cheap'n'nasty screws that seem to be made of plastic! Never had an issue with Spax. Pair them with a good driver/bit and job's a good'un!
great screws - excellent quality, good bite / grip in all timber products
Been using Spax for many many years. The quality has dropped but still the best.
Brilliantly engineered screws. Vorspung durch Technik.
Good quality screws, east start, no heads snapping off, like some do
Excellent screws not the cheapest but always perform with minimal if any timber splitting.
Needed short screws for l brackets going on to 12 mm plywood
Works well and strong. Too early to reflect on corrosion resistance
Good priced exterior wood screw , made to a really good quality
Just the job!, Screws bite into wood really well, decent quality too.
