This is a fantadtic quality item which is easy to use and the finish is perfect
Great product use this all the time to seal up boiler flues such a time saver
easy to apply, didn't us nozzle supplied, straight from tube via gn
Superb product. Easy to apply, quick drying. Beige matches the 250 year old honey coloured lime mortar in my old stone interior walls perfectly.
A mix up with head office statements, your Cheadle branch looked into it, sorted
Absolute Rubbish best to mix sand and cement yourself .
Quick repair cement, easy to use in cartridge for as long as you cut novel in a big enough bead, trying small beads similar to that used for silicon is not a realistic option. I would suggest at least 4mm
Filled the cracks, now you can’t see them the wall mow looks like it is finished
When repairing a sash window, couple of lumps of Bath stone fell out of masonry opening. Grade 1 listed etc. Glued the bits back on, and used this stuff to seal/hide the join-an almost invisible repair
Dries hard
Cheap filler
But its not really matching my brick mortar
Nozzle a bit tight and hard to push through need to cut right back. Mix is good and strong.
This is clever stuff! On the edge of our patio we have a line of bricks- the mortar had been washed out over time. We used this cement to fill in the gaps.
Good product, did the job to repair around brickwork easy enough.
I used it to fill in a line of mortar where I chased out for 3 coach lanterns on the side of a 3 bed semi and wanted to conceal the wire. I didnt want to mix up and use a trowell. Took 6 tubes of this - I estimate coverage at about 2 metres a tube. It takes a good squeeze on the cartridge gun as its not exactly runny. The key is all in the technique - its not very sticky, if you squeeze and drag like you do with silicone it just strings out of the nozzle into the gap but it doesnt break off and is dragged out and falls go the ground. You have to move laterally or vertically with the gun piping it into the gap bit by bit and then it sticks well and you can finish off with pointing tool.
A clever product this. Flexible enough to be squirted from a tube, but cures rock hard once in place. Though hardening takes a while in cold weather. Ideal for a DIYer like me to fill in weathered pointing or make good around newly installed pipes etc. Easily shaped and smoothed by a non tradesman with a wet finger, and the dispensing method makes it easy to get deep into the gap being filled.
The actual product is spot on for small repairs. However, it’s hard to actually get any out of the tube. I blew the bottoms out of 2 tubes before I squeezed some onto a tray and pointed it in.
I had exposed brick at the bottom of a side wall on the outer boundaries of my property from water damage. I had to fill in a deep hole in between brickwork and it was perfect for the job. Best to use it at room temperature and difficult to stop once in full flow. It set rock hard and I am confident it’s strengthen the wall.
Excellent alternative to cement morter for the DIY er who like me makes a mess when pointing brickwork
Excellent quality filler, easy to use and a great match for brickwork filling.
So easy to use ! What could be easier mortar in a tube for filling in around external pipes etc
