It works fine on pvc window frames and glass. Just follow instructions.
great item and really helped in removing expanding foam
Pu Foam Remover purchased from Toolstation has not been used as yet. But have it as a backup should methylated spirits not be successful when removing excess expanding foam from job surfaces.
As Tiltle. Took 3 attempts with residue being left behind. This was on a metal steel powder coated frame and door. Should of took it back as it stated it would do the job.
I was a bit sceptical at first (because I always am) but this did exactly what it said. I gave it 40 minutes before wiping off and 90% of the foam disappeared, and second try and it's all gone and a lovely surface left. Highly recommended.
Got over spill from expanding foam and needed it removing so I purchased this hoping it would answer my prays. NO. Didn’t budge.
use this on white pvc and brick as I would expect most people would to clean excess from fitting pvc windows and it stained the bricks and all pvc that’s not white. It does work okay on the white pvc but doesn’t work well on any rough surface like brick or concrete
I bought this to remove expanding foam which had spilled onto the window frames making them look really untidy. Brushed this on the excess foam and within 30 mins the pvc window frames were clear and look new again. Brilliant product
As they say "it does what is says on the tin" or the tub
Simply process from order to pick-up with added friendly/helpful staff behind counter.
Works exactly as described and easily removed all traces of old foam. Instructions advise against using on foil-wrapped surfaces, but decided to risk it and no harm done. Just wiped down well with water straight after removing the foam.
This stuff is spot on. Initially tried a solvent cleaner which the cured foam just laughed at. A little spread of this paste and thirty minutes later it had turned into a satisfying goo which was easily removed. Highly recommended
I purchased this as I had stains caused by expanding foam which had not been wiped away properly ands had set hard.Use the enclosed brush to apply a thin coating over the foam to be removed and wait 30 minutes. The foam can the be easily scraped off with a piece of plastic, which is also provided. Do not be put off by the size of the container, I cleared an area approx 4ft by 18 inches in a shower cubicle and hardly used any product. Definitely recommend.
PU Foam Remove- would not recommend - leaves marks on bricks
This was highly effective, removing foam from a mothballed upvc decking railing. After cleaning it was reused alongside existing rails with no noticeable difference.
Great product cleans foam residue but have to leave on for 10 mins to do itsbusiness
A reliable brand product, available over the counter on demand. At a great price.
Every box ticked.
A smooth paste easy to apply and after half an hour scrape it off with the scraper (included) and no cured expanded foam left in place. I was pleasantly surprised at how effective it was.
It actually works! These products often over promise but this was excellent....foam spilt on new shower tray.
Let it dry, scrapped off the excess and then used the foam remover....5mins wait and it wiped off
I bought this to remove some foam residue from a new Composite door frame that had just been fitted, I was concerned it may effect the foil that the door frame is wrapped in but it brought off the staining perfectly well without any damage to the foil / frame
